Wednesday the 8th of May 2019, the annual symposium of BME will be held. This year’s BME symposium, “Pumping life into science” , will be in the light of biomedical and technological developments in the cardiovascular field. During this symposium, five speakers will talk about various developments in the cardiovascular field of predicting, prevention and remedy of cardiovascular diseases. They will cover subjects like artificial organs, surgical techniques, and heart monitoring.
The day will be led by Richard Lopata (Research group Cardiovascular Biomechanics) as Chairman of the Day. Presentations will be given by external lecturers:
