This guide offers an overview of the most important digital systems you’ll use as a BME student at TU/e. Each section includes explanations, tips and helpful links. Use this guide as a reference throughout your studies.

Do you always want to stay up to date with Protagoras activities? You can easily add the Protagoras Google calendar to your own calendar. Below you’ll find instructions for Google Calendar and Outlook.

Google Calendar

Click the plus icon in the bottom left under "Other calendars" and then select "Subscribe to calendar". Enter This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The Protagoras calendar is now added and you can, for example, set whether you want to receive notifications for activities.

Outlook

Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.

In the Internet Calendars tab, click New.

Copy and paste the following address: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/bestuur%40protagoras.tue.nl/public/basic.ics and click Add.

In the Folder Name box, enter the name you’d like the calendar to have in Outlook and then click OK.

The study guide is the central place for information about your program. You’ll find the academic calendar, curriculum, examination regulations and more.

Use OSIRIS to register for courses and view your grades. Use the course codes found in the Study Guide.

  • Go to Registration > Course or Exam
  • Use the course code to enroll
  • View course details (credits, teaching methods, instructors, etc.)
  • Track study progress and view results

This tool helps you plan your electives. At the end of your first year, submission is mandatory.

  • Go to Concept > New Concept
  • Add courses via Course Catalog > Plan Later
  • Submit your plan using “Submit Concept”

Check your course schedule, exam times and locations via TE Timetable. You can sync with Google Calendar.

Canvas is the platform where course materials, assignments and announcements are posted.

All TU/e printers are connected. Print from your laptop or through the online system after topping up credit.

  • Top up via mycampusprint
  • Upload and print documents online
  • Install the printer on your device

You can reserve study or meeting rooms using the FMIS system.

  • Select “Lecture room”
  • Pick a date and time (up to 1 week in advance)
  • Reservations appear in Outlook

You need to collect 7 MyFuture points and 5 ITEC points during your bachelor. Activities are available via MyFuture and Studium Generale.

Some lectures are recorded and can be rewatched via the TU/e Video Portal.

If you have a sports card, you can use the SSC facilities. Booking is required via the online platform.

  • Book gym time, squash, or group classes
