Committee

Our committee is working hard to make the symposium possible.

Anouk Jennissen
Chair, Speaker coordinator

Hi, my name is Anouk Jennissen. I am 19 years old and currently in my second year of the bachelor Biomedical Engineering. In my free time, I like to play volleyball, play the saxophone and to hang out with friends. I am the chairman of the symposium committee and therefore responsible for the global planning to make sure we finish everything on time. In addition, I am also speaker coordinator along with Raquel. This means I am responsible for finding speakers for the symposium and keeping them posted on everything regarding the 3rd of June. I find this years theme important because unfortunately almost everyone has to deal with cancer in some way in their lifetime. There is a lot of interesting new research on cancer, including in the field of biomedical engineering, and I hope you are as curious as I am to hear more about it at the symposium!
