Willem Einthoven is the alumni association for graduates of the department of Biomedical Engineering. The association is named after the Dutch scientist Willem Einthoven, who in 1924 became the first Dutchman to receive the Nobel Prize in Medicine for inventing the electrocardiogram (ECG).

Willem Einthoven maintains a network of alumni working in all areas of expertise, such as (medical device) companies, hospitals, universities and in all other types of engineering roles. All students and alumni can benefit from this network both professionally and socially. The Alumni Association organizes activities for alumni only or for both alumni and students. Each year they organize events such as networking events, career development events and alumni dinners and drinks.

Membership

If you are still a student, follow Willem Einthoven on Facebook and LinkedIn for the latest updates. Once you have graduated, you can officially become a member through the official alumni portal. We noticed that many alumni register for the TU/e Alumni Community, but are not a member of the group specifically for BME alumni: "Willem Einthoven". Make sure that you manually join Willem Einthoven's circle (free of charge) at www.alumnicommunity.tue.nl by following the instructions below:

After signing up you can participate in the activities and take advantage of our network!
